Built and delivered from Finland in 8 pieces, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai has now opened it’s new stunning terrace and, looking a little like a mermaid’s tail, it brings another very exclusive aspect to this icon of a structure.
As reported by What’s On Dubai, the Burj Al Arab Terrace has a new restaurant, two pools, a beach and 32 cabanas. However, although the public has access to the restaurant (with a strict dress code) unfortunately the pool, beach and butler-service cabana areas are for hotel guests and Burj Al Arab members only – I guess only to be expected.
By contrast, and in the shadow of the Burj Al Arab, the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project released 110 baby turtles back into the wild from the Jumeirah Madinat beach. The only project of its kind in the Middle East and Red Sea region, excited onlookers gently encouraged the babies down the beach and into the warm Arabian sea.
